Where to Get The Most Aesthetically Pleasing Cake

I love many things about where I live, and one of them is that this place loves sweets. The New England pallet runs very sweet, and sometimes I can appreciate this very much. Especially when we talk about bakeries. One of my all-time favorite bakers lives in my neighborhood and has a storefront in the town near us.

Located right next to a yummy Thai restaurant is a new bakery called Sweetened Memories. Now, if you are craving something utterly delicious, you need to try this bakery. Maybe you need a cookie to lift away any sad vibes, or perhaps a cake for someone’s party, no matter what, you need a sweet for, this bakery, has got you covered.

What To Try At Sweetened Memories

If you are headed to Durham, New Hampshire, be sure to take a stroll into this bakery for some yummy sweets. Some of them are baked fresh the morning of and are only served first come first serve.

●    Cinnamon Rolls

First of all, if you don’t like cinnamon rolls, I don’t even know if we can be friends. Second of all, if you think you hate cinnamon rolls, you haven’t tried these ones yet. Coming hot from the oven, smothered in homemade frosting, this cinnamon roll will make your tastebuds HAPPY. This is one of those items that are only served on Saturday’s and you have to grab them fast before they run out.

●    Whoopie Pies

Have you even visited New England if you’ve never had a whoopie pie? These cookies are crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. These cookies are so thick it does have a cake-like texture. On the inside, sandwiched in between the two yummy chocolate cookies, is a perfectly dense marshmallow cream. I never thought I would love marshmallow the way I do, but oh boy, does it make a great whoopie pie.

●    Cookie Dough Lovers

I am a HUGE fan of cookie dough and the fact that there is a cake that is literally made for me? Even better! This beautiful cake is astonishing, and you need to order it ASAP. It is a vanilla cake, layered with edible cookie dough, cookies, and vanilla buttercream. On the top is a delectable chocolate drizzle, scoops of cookie dough, and of course, some cookies wedged in between. If you know a cookie monster in your life, I highly suggest hitting up this bakery.

●    Cookie Sandwich

You may realize there is a theme with me. I love cookies, and this bakery definitely caters to my love for all things cookie. There are four flavors to choose from, cookie dough, caramel espresso, snickerdoodle, and M&m. My personal favorite is the espresso caramel; it is a must-try if you love a sweet and salty something.

When you walk in, you will find something you are craving! If you are in the mood for homemade sweets made that morning, this is the spot for you. It is close to the University of New Hampshire but in a quiet spot. Its location is one of the best to take a quick stroll about and really appreciate what Durham’s small town has to offer. You, of course, should be doing this with a cupcake in your hand.

One of my favorite things about this bakery is that they will keep you up to date with all of their promotions, fun projects, and even giveaways. You can find all of their information on their website or Instagram page and stay updated. If you have any special events and live in the New England area, you should reach out to this bakery! They will help you with anniversaries, mothers day, birthdays, and anything else you need. They will create something unique and magical for you, that is one of a kind.
