‘’KAESEFESTIVAL’’, the cheese festival every European foodie needs to attend.

In the second week of March in Campo Tures (from 13 to 15 March 2020 | 10:00 am – 7:00 pm in Sand in Taufers/Südtirol – ITALY) the doors of cheese paradise open again. For three days in the capital of the Ahrntal Valley you can taste and buy all kinds of cheeses. The love for cheese and the guaranteed delicacies make the festival a fixed appointment for connoisseurs and lovers.

The Käsefestival is a plural concept: it is a cheese market for gourmets, a Slow Food fair, a meeting of those with a shared passion. And it is undoubtedly also a leading event in the sector. All this, however, does not adequately describe it. In fact it is much more, it borders on emotion.

The Käsefestival in Campo Tures is listed among the pioneers of its kind and is now a regular appointment for regional gastronomic events. About 100 exhibitors from all over Europe make the event a special adventure: the best Italian and international dairies present alongside the local South Tyrolean matadors. Cheeses from every corner of Europe with special attention for those produced by mountain dairies.

KAESEFESTIVAL

But the Käsefestival is still much more: food shows with young talents and renowned chefs who cook in front of the public. Even chefs awarded the Michelin star participate in the event and reveal their secrets to the public.

Another fixed appointment of the event are the taste workshops. During all three days a varied tasting program with high-quality producers is offered (excellent cheeses paired with unique products such as the ‘’goat graukäse’’ produced by Goasroscht and the indigenous grape variety of Albana di Romagna produced by the awarded Tenuta Diavoletto winery) and specialized speakers from all over Europe guide visitors for an hour through the interesting world of cheese.

Always on the hunt for significant trends, Käsefestival, has chosen an international qualified media partner such as KAATAA to connect with the European food lovers and promote the revolutionary producers and cheese artisan.

But that’s not all, for the occasion of the cheese festival in numerous restaurants in the area the menu will be expanded with the so-called “specialty days”. Cheese-based dishes are served in all the restaurants participating in the event.

The Käsefestival is more a party than a fair. An event in which to feel immediately at home, in the heart of the Alps in one of the most beautiful European mountain valleys. An unspoiled paradise that awaits guests with its panoramas and gastronomic excellence.
