Street Food of Rajshahi Bangladesh

Rajshahi city is Northern part of Bangladesh. The city has many street foods.The innovation and the rawness that goes with street foods can tell you a lot about a place and its people which may be missing in cookbooks. 

Kalayer Ruti:

This is special zone food in Rajshahi, It called kalayer ruti. Most of the people like it so much. This is the main street food in Rajshahi, it is available everywhere around the city. Basically, this bread is made with Mashkalai (local name) pulses and rice powder. The bread is sold in small food stall along the road. This bread is served with Green chili mash, Brinjal mash, potato mash, Beef curry and Duck curry.  The current price of a bread is 20 Taka ( Bangladeshi currency ). The local people’s life style and culture link up with surrounded of Kalayer Ruti.

On the other hand, there are many another street foods, those are popular and great food as well, such as- Sugar cane juice, Singara, Puri, Piyaju, Fish fry, Beef and Buffalo curry and Tea.
