Top-rated restaurants in Niagara Falls, NY

What are the best restaurants in Niagara Falls, NY to add to your itinerary?

In all the time that I have lived in and near this area of New York, I have never sought out the “top-rated” restaurants here, until now!

10. La Cucina Di Mamma

This restaurant may hold the number 10 spot on this list but, it often holds the number 1 spot for “best Italian restaurant in the area”. La Cucina Di Mamma is highly regarded for its food, service, value, and atmosphere! Their food and beverages are priced fairly for what you get, as reviewed by customers. I plan to add La Cucina Di Mamma to my “need to review” list for the new year!

9. Donatello’s Restaurant

Donatello’s restaurant is primarily known for their pizza and other Italian-American classics! While La Cucina holds the “number 1 Italian restaurant in Niagara Falls” label, Donatello’s comes in a close second! Donatello’s is highly regarded for its food, service, and value but customers are less impressed by their atmosphere. My husband and brother-in-law have ordered from Donatello’s restaurant in the past and they say that “the pizza is more expensive than most places, but it is fantastic and worth the price for great pizza”!

8. Wine on Third

Wine on Third is primarily a wine bar here in Niagara Falls, NY. I have seen it many times and have always wanted to go there! Customers seem to love the food (overall) but the biggest compliments are in the service and atmosphere!

7. Red Coach Inn

My family and I have had a couple of dinners here, usually for Mother’s Day. They are located just a short walk from the Niagara Falls Park, Goat Island and the Three Sister Islands. The atmosphere is comfortable best described as comfortable fine dining because it is a higher class restaurant without the stuffy high-class attitude.

6. Michael’s Restaurant

My father-in-law loves this restaurant so we often join him here for his birthday dinner. Michael’s restaurant is listed as the third-best Italian restaurant in Niagara Falls and they are well-known for their mozzarella cheese rolled salads, while calzones and big portions! Customers love their food, service, and value, though it can get very overwhelming and claustrophobic.

5. The Marketside

The Marketside is one of the many diners here in Niagara Falls, NY. They serve breakfast, brunch, and lunch to tourists and locals alike. Customers rave about the delicious food, great service, and equally great prices.

4. Savor

This is an American restaurant that is partially run by culinary students to help expand their hands-on knowledge of the business. Customers have largely praised the food, service, and atmosphere of Savor and encourage people to visit and support the culinary students! I plan to visit Savor in the New Year!

3. Bakery Restaurant and Lounge

This restaurant is an American steakhouse and seafood restaurant. Automatically, you should be ready to pay higher prices based on the type of cuisine served here. However, I believe you get what you pay for ad if you are seeking a high-quality dinner, then you will pay a higher price tag. Customers enjoy the food, atmosphere and feel the value is comparable to other steakhouses and seafood restaurants. However, they truly rave about the service here!

2. Third Street Retreat

As we close in on the number one restaurant in Niagara Falls, NY we have to talk about Third Street Retreat! This is an American pub that is highly regarded for its food, atmosphere, and service! They serve local beers and many locals will help you to “get the breakfast burrito”! I, for one, plan to do just that in the coming New Year!

1.The Griffon Gastropub

This is one of my parent’s favorite restaurants in Niagara Falls, NY. They are well-known in the area for their unique food, great atmosphere, and overall quality in all areas of the restaurant. Customers highly recommend the mac n’ cheese, crab dip, or any of the unique items such as the Elk or peanut butter and jelly burger!

I have been a freelance writer for more than 4 years, a mom for more than 2 years, and a wife for just under a year. I am currently a student in a cooking and catering program with the intention of expanding my knowledge of the culinary business. I then plan to take this knowledge to properly write about and critique restaurants and food. Writing to you from Niagara Falls, NY, thanks for joining me on the ride!
